With the advancements in technology and the pandemic rapidly forcing everyone to embrace remote work, it’s more than likely that you spend plenty of time working alone at home. While there are many benefits to working remotely, there is still something great about working with other people. As humans, we crave that interaction with each other even if we love working from home. But just because you work remotely, doesn’t mean you have to completely lose out on communication with other people. Through coworking, you can work from anywhere with anyone. In this blog, we’re going to talk about why coworking is a game changer.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
The stand out benefit of coworking is the sense of teamwork it fosters. While members may be working on different projects or for different companies, the shared virtual space creates a collaborative environment where ideas can flow freely. You don’t feel alone when you can simply look to the person on your screen who’s also getting work done.
For small remote team, coworking can simulate being in an office together. For solopreneurs, build relationships with other entrepreneurs through coworking. That connection can make you feel more productive, less alone, and inspire new ideas.
Idea Sharing throught Coworking
The ability to talk through ideas with others is another powerful aspect of coworking. When you’re able to have valuable discussions, you have the unique opportunity to get fresh perspectives on your ideas and projects.
When you work in isolation, you may lack the opportunity to bounce ideas off of others or get feedback on your work. However, with coworking, you can find a supportive community of professionals who are willing to share their perspectives and insights. Not only can this can lead to valuable discussions and fresh perspectives, but innovative solutions to problems.
Getting into Work Mode
One of the best benefits of coworking is creating an environment that helps individuals get into work mode. It’s natural to be more productive when you’re around others who are also getting work done. Working from home or in a coffee shop can be distracting, with various interruptions and temptations that can hinder productivity. If you’re someone who often gets distracted when working or feels like they are not productive at their desk, coworking might be the solution for you.
Accountability: A Key Factor in Coworking
One of the key factors, and my favorite, that make coworking so powerful is accountability. No one wants to be the odd one out when others are powering through their tasks. While you may not have a boss to keep you accountable, a dedicated group can be just as effective.
When you’re coworking, you might consider working with a group that prioritizes accountability if that’s your biggest struggle. For example, my coworking group uses hosted sessions to keep everyone on task. These sessions provide a structure and a sense of urgency, encouraging members to stay focused and productive. Hosts may also offer progress checks, support, and feedback to help members stay on track and achieve their goals. This built-in accountability system can be a powerful tool in boosting productivity and keeping individuals motivated and on task.
To hold these sessions, we navigate towards The Zone Community which hosts virtual coworking sessions focused on getting you in the zone. Want to try it out? Use my code here to get started.
