I learned a long time ago that working on my mindset around every goal meant that I could and would accomplish that current goal. This was such a huge part of my weight loss journey and my journey into entrepreneurship, as well. After working with other entrepreneurs, creating accountability and support with one another, we all have spent a bit of time focusing on our mindset journey and how it affects every aspect of our personal and business lives.
Mindset Fuels Your Thoughts
Any part of mindset work that you do requires taking the time to create a point of focus. This can be in or on your business that you choose to focus on. So what is Mindset exactly? According to Dictionary.com:
mind-set[ mahynd-set ]
noun
1: an attitude, disposition, or mood.
2: an intention or inclination.
In other words, an attitude, mood, or intention is something that you as a person can control. Mindset is not something that is unobtainable it is something that you can establish and create in your life. As my Mentor, Danielle Ralston often says; “Mindset is a HABIT. It takes 21-days to create a new established healthy habit, so why not create a great one!”
When you take the time to focus on a new habit you are fueling positive habit-forming thought processes and actions.
Your Mindset Directs Your Actions
When you are focusing on a positive habit or mindset, you are then focusing on creating better actions in your life. Why is this important? Creating action is what creates success in your business and personal life. Success is the process of reaching a specific goal. According to LifeHack.org “ Success in achieving our goals comes down to a ‘success mindset’. Successful mindsets are those focused on victory, based on positive mental attitudes, empowering inclinations, and good habits. Acquiring a success mindset is the sure-fire way to dramatically increase your chance to achieve your goals.”
Positive Mindsets Lead to Positive Action
The days that I set myself up for success are the days that I reach and surpass my goals. My latest blog How and Why to Pick Top 3 Tasks a Day focuses on creating the positive habit of having 3 goals a day to reach. The process of creating these goals and the task lists to go with them is part of mindset work. When you create positive habits, positive habits create success, success creates more positive actions which means you have more positive results and mindset. This is the cycle of someone who truly understands the importance of mindset in everything they do each day.
Mindset really is everything. A positive mindset will create the success you need to succeed and get all the things done you want in your life to reach for the stars.
